SUPPORTING THOSE WHO DO GREAT THINGS
The Kiwanis Club of Sebastopol provides grants to dozens of organizations each year which address our community's needs. Our primary, but not exclusive focus, is on youth. Grants range from $300 to $2000. The bulk of the funds that we distribute are raised through various special events such as the Kiwanis Fireworks and Music Extravaganza in Sebastopol. Kiwanis is committed to making a difference in the lives of all people living in our community.
Who Can Apply: Any individual, group or organization will be considered.
The Annual Grant Application Period: You may submit an application between March 1 through May 15th, with funding generally done in June.
PREFERENCE IS GIVEN TO GRANT REQUESTS THAT MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:
• Has a positive impact on youth.
• Organizations (or individuals) that can provide the necessary leadership, fiscal responsibility and determination to fulfill the requirements of their project or program.
• Are located in the general Sebastopol area or Sonoma County.
